This year's edition received over 4,000 votes via the award website
The magazines Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling, the organisers of the Recircle Awards, presented the winners of the 2025 edition at an event held at Autopromotec, the global event that rewards sustainability applied to innovation, production processes, management and services in the field of tyre retreading and recycling.
Both the announcement and the awards ceremony were broadcast live on the YouTube channels of the organisers of the Recircle Awards, the two world's leading newspapers specialising in the tyre retreading and recycling sectors.
The growing interest in this year's awards is reflected in the high number of votes cast on the Recircle Awards website, with over 4,000 valid votes registered. This further confirms the effectiveness of the improvements made to the voting system, ranging from the submission of nominations to the selection of finalists, further enhancing the legitimacy of the votes.

Bengt-Sture Ershag, founder of Scandinavian Enviro Systems, expressed his gratitude for the award: 'I am honoured to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in Tyre Recycling and am grateful for the opportunity to make a significant contribution in my field. This award reflects the collective efforts of many colleagues and experts who have supported my work over the years'.
Mario Marangoni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marangoni Holding S.p.A. (owner of Marangoni S.p.A.), commented: 'I am grateful for the privilege offered to me with this prestigious award, which sees me as a surviving witness to the pioneering work that developed Tyre Retreading after the war. It is the recognition of a path that led from the climate of sanctions and autarchy of the Second World War to the intuition of recycling and reuse of tyre retreading, followed by continuous innovation of machinery and processes up to the internationalisation of the Marangoni Group. The rest is history'.
David Wilson, Chairman of the Nominations Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Retreading Business and Tyre & Rubber Recycling magazines, commented: 'When we launched the fourth Recircle Awards, our aim was to improve the entire voting process. The more than 4,000 votes received prove that we have succeeded. This figure also demonstrates the interest the awards are generating in the industry, not only for the award itself, but also for the recognition of commitment and innovation in a sector so closely linked to the environment. We hope that these awards will continue to help promote green business and raise awareness of the circular economy.'
"I would like to congratulate the winners and thank them for their efforts in a particularly inclusive edition, which saw the introduction of two new categories to recognise the contribution and commitment of women in the sector. On behalf of myself and the Nominations Committee, we congratulate the first two winners in both categories. We will continue to grow in this direction. Finally, I would like to express our gratitude to Autopromotec, the main sponsor of the awards, and to all our sponsors and collaborators for their support of the Recircle Awards. We look forward to seeing you at the next edition'.
