The topics
Taking a structured approach to the key trends, challenges and transformations that currently characterise and influence the automotive sector is one of the objectives the event aims to pursue. In light of these requirements, following discussions with various stakeholders in the sector – including companies, associations and organisations operating at the national and international levels – the key topics to be addressed in this edition can be summarised under the following three broad categories.
- Predictive diagnostics and AI: the future is proactive
Through the use of advanced algorithms and the analysis of big data from vehicle sensors, the workshop is being transformed into a technology centre capable of monitoring the condition of various components in real time. The integration of Artificial Intelligence is radically transforming the concept of maintenance: interventions are no longer carried out simply to repair faults, but primarily to prevent them. At Autopromotec 2027, leading exhibitors in this transformative sector will hold dedicated workshops to demonstrate how predictive diagnostics and AI can optimise workflows, reduce vehicle downtime and ensure unprecedented safety for motorists.
- Sustainability and the circular economy: where focus meets business
Thanks to increased social awareness and recently published EU regulations (ELV – End-of-Life Vehicles), the aftermarket sector has been playing a crucial role in the ecological transition for some time now. Sustainability will not merely be approached as a concept at the trade fair, but as a practice that encompasses the entire product life cycle: from the recycling of materials to the remanufacturing of components, right through to the adoption of workshop processes with a low environmental impact. Workshops, training sessions and dedicated demonstration areas will showcase solutions for a circular economy that transforms waste into resources, promoting a business model that combines profitability with respect for the planet.
- Software-defined aftermarket: a new service architecture
With the advent of software-defined vehicles (SDVs), the heart of the car has gradually begun to shift from hardware to software, comprising data and code. This change will help reshape the entire supply chain, in which spare parts will no longer be merely physical items, but part of a value chain that will include digital updates and software licences. Autopromotec 2027 has once again proved to be a prime opportunity to connect with the leading companies driving this innovative process and to gain first-hand insight into and analyse the skills required to manage such complexity, while examining the challenges of cyber security, data access and the new service opportunities offered by remote connectivity.
Enrolment trends
In line with the growth trend witnessed with previous editions of the event, the pattern of registrations for Autopromotec 2027 reaffirms the increase already seen during the pre-registration phase. As further evidence of increased interest from exhibitors – particularly international ones – who recognise Autopromotec as a strategic platform for networking, business and global dialogue, the exhibition space for the 31st edition has been expanded by over 10,000 square metres, thanks to the opening of Hall 37. To date, there has been a 15% increase in applications received compared to the same period last year.
“The growth trend shows that, these days, it remains extremely important to take part in events such as Autopromotec. Technological innovations, which are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated, need to be closely observed and understood: the automotive world is constantly evolving, and keeping up to date is no longer an option. While the growing internationalisation of the market is a strength for businesses, it is essential not only to establish new relationships, but also to nurture existing ones: Autopromotec is therefore the perfect opportunity to meet partners and stakeholders in person and to discuss the latest developments and needs of the sector,” says Enrica Lazzarini, CEO of Autopromotec.
Registration for the upcoming event is still open until 30 October: https://www.autopromotec.com/it/Perche-esporre/p470
