The challenges of the new mobility in the spotlight at Futurmotive - Expo & Talks

Enrica Lazzarini

Appointment from 16 to 18 November 2023 at the Bologna Exhibition Centre for the international exhibition on the future of mobility, the energy and ecological transition and innovations in the automotive sector. The new website is online
A series of exhibition spaces dedicated to new technologies and strategic services for an environmentally, economically and community sustainable energy transition, to understand the challenges and explore new business models in the automotive sector. These will be the topics discussed at Futurmotive - Expo and Talks, the new event organised by Autopromotec from 16 to 18 November at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, aimed at auto manufacturers, component manufacturers, distributors and buyers.

The event will take place in conjunction with E-Charge, the exhibition dedicated to the electric vehicle charging industry, infrastructure and electric mobility organised by A151 and held on 16 and 17 November, also at the Bologna Exhibition Centre.

The new synergy between E-Charge and Futurmotive will boost the usefulness of both events: E-Charge, focused on the world of production and distribution of charging systems for electric vehicles and aimed at technicians, installers, designers, service providers, public administrations, utilities, investors and end users, will complement the sectors and audiences addressed by Futurmotive. In fact the new Autopromotec event will be the ideal container for information and the presentation of innovative solutions, technologies and products relating to material and energy generation, smart infrastructure and cities, human-machine interconnection for computerised car maintenance, and a sustainable energy transition from an economic, ecological and social point of view, in a process that can also ensure uninterrupted supplies for car manufacturers.

Exhibition & networking
During the three days of the trade show, Futurmotive - Expo and Talks will bring together participating companies in an exhibition space of approximately 25,000 square metres, showcasing a full range of technological innovations and solutions to address global challenges in the automotive world, in a format designed to foster an effective interaction between companies, institutions and industry opinion leaders. The main areas of interest will be alternative fuel systems, components, equipment, tyres and new materials. Ample space will also be devoted to the topic of remanufacturing and innovations related to the world of connectivity and service and repair networks.

“What we’re experiencing in the automotive sector and more generally in the mobility sector is a paradigm shift destined to reconfigure the entire industry. This is a complex transition – ecologically, industrially and socially – which must be approached in scientific terms, looking with equal interest at all new technologies in the field. Precisely for this reason, Futurmotive - Expo and Talks addresses the entire mobility chain, including car manufacturers and the aftermarket, but also energy producers and distribution networks, alternative fuels, tyres for electric cars, lightweight materials and much more. The November exhibition will be a catalysing international event for 2023, with ample space dedicated to networking with high-profile international buyers", commented Renzo Servadei, CEO of Autopromotec.

The conferences
Innovators, technologists and institutions will take turns on the Futurmotive stage to chart the new routes of energy sustainability: not only new generation power plants, alternative fuels and raw materials procurement but also infrastructure and smart cities, human-machine interconnection for computerized car maintenance, big data management, cybersecurity, the transformation of business models and the labour market.
