Autopromotec took part in the 17th CLEPA Aftermarket Congress

The event, held on 18 and 19 March in Brussels, brought together over 200 participants, including key industry experts, high-profile speakers and representatives from the European Commission.
Autopromotec took part in the two-day event as a sponsor, in what proved to be an excellent opportunity to raise its profile and strengthen relationships at the highest levels of the international supply chain.
The European automotive aftermarket is undergoing rapid change, as sustainability goals, technological progress and evolving regulatory frameworks are reshaping the sector. Reflecting these developments, the 17th edition of the CLEPA Aftermarket Conference highlighted the high expectations surrounding the implementation of the Data Act and the progress made towards a future-ready regulatory environment.
In his opening address, CLEPA Secretary General Benjamin Krieger stated:“Accessible mobility is fundamental to consumer confidence and to mobility solutions for society as a whole. Data holds enormous potential for cost efficiency and the resilience of this sector...”
The Data Act, as anticipated, was one of the central themes and, as reported by Frank Schlehuber, senior advisor at CLEPA, “With the support of the European Parliament and Member States, the next step must be to expand the Commission’s guidelines to better address competitive dependencies and ensure fairer access across the market.”
